Blocker · Pie Labs
Terms of service
These terms govern your access to and use of Blocker, including the Android game, online matches, accounts, social features, virtual rewards, and the public Blocker website.
1. Agreement and scope
Blocker is provided under the Blocker and Pie Labs brands. In these terms, “Blocker,” “Pie Labs,” “we,” and “us” refer to the developer responsible for the game. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Blocker, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game or its online services.
These terms apply to the Blocker Android application, game and social servers, account and reward systems, and public pages at blocker.pielabs.dev. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and forms part of your relationship with Blocker.
If you are not legally able to enter this agreement on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you and supervise your use. Do not use Blocker where doing so is prohibited by law.
2. Accounts and access
Blocker may create an installation guest credential and player ID. You may also be able to connect a Google Play Games account. You must provide accurate profile information, keep your device and credentials secure, and promptly address suspected unauthorized access. Do not share a guest credential, authorization code, or other account secret.
You are responsible for activity performed through your Blocker profile to the extent permitted by law. Guest profiles that are not linked or otherwise recoverable may be permanently lost if app data is cleared, a device is replaced, or the credential becomes unavailable. Connecting or disconnecting Google Play Games does not by itself create or delete the underlying Blocker profile.
Features, device compatibility, and access may vary by country, platform version, account state, test track, or service capacity. Your network provider may charge for data used by the game.
3. Limited game license and updates
Subject to these terms, Pie Labs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the authorized Blocker app for non-commercial entertainment. The license does not transfer ownership of Blocker, its software, artwork, game systems, brands, or online services.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, modify, extract, or reverse engineer Blocker except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted by contract. You may not bypass security, access controls, protocol checks, advertising verification, or technical limits.
Updates may correct defects, improve security, change compatibility, or revise features and rules. An update may be required to continue using online services. Use only releases obtained through an authorized distribution channel.
4. Gameplay and online matches
Blocker is a portrait arcade game built around paddle-and-ball matches. Modes may include Classic, Defense, Block Belt, Campaign, League, friend challenges, matchmaking, spectators, power-ups, charge abilities, progression, and customized profiles. Opponents may be other players or game-controlled bots with different behavior and difficulty settings.
Match simulation, scores, results, inventory changes, rewards, and competitive standings are determined by Blocker's authoritative services. The rules displayed in the current app apply to a match. We may correct or invalidate a result affected by a technical failure, exploit, duplicated transaction, unauthorized automation, or other integrity problem.
Online play depends on your device, network, distance from service infrastructure, and other players. Latency, packet loss, disconnections, maintenance, or device suspension can interrupt a match or affect its outcome. Leaving or failing to reconnect may be handled under the rules shown in the game. No specific ping, frame rate, opponent availability, or uninterrupted session is promised.
5. Fair play and acceptable conduct
You must not:
- use cheats, external bots, macros, modified clients, packet manipulation, or unauthorized automation;
- exploit or publicize a vulnerability in a way that harms players, accounts, infrastructure, or service integrity;
- farm matches, ads, spins, progression, or rewards through collusion, duplicate claims, false signals, or manipulated devices;
- attack, overload, probe, scrape, or access Blocker systems or data without authorization;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation;
- harass, threaten, deceive, spam, or target another player with hateful, sexual, exploitative, or unlawful content;
- collect another player's personal information or account credentials;
- use Blocker for commercial wagering, sale of accounts or virtual items, or another unlawful purpose; or
- encourage or help another person violate these rules.
Security concerns should be sent through the developer contact on Blocker's Google Play listing without exposing a working exploit or another player's data.
6. Profiles, artwork, messages, and other user content
Blocker may let you submit or select a username, biography, avatar, paddle or block artwork, background, emoji, direct message, or other profile and social content (“User Content”). You retain any rights you already hold in your User Content. You must have the rights needed to submit it, and it must comply with these terms and applicable law. Profile content may be visible to other players, while direct messages are delivered to conversation participants.
You grant Pie Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, technically format, transmit, and display User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve Blocker. This license allows relevant service providers to process the content for those purposes. It ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal retention, security evidence, and copies already shared as part of a completed service interaction.
We may reject, hide, remove, preserve, or restrict User Content or related access when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, intellectual-property protection, service integrity, or enforcement. We do not promise to review every communication. Use available friendship and blocking controls, and use the current developer contact on the Google Play listing to report serious abuse or rights violations.
7. Virtual items, progression, premium status, and rewards
Blocker may provide Stars, balances, inventory items, cosmetic content, wheel spins, progression, premium entitlements, ad-earned rewards, and other virtual benefits. They are limited licenses to use features inside Blocker. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, they have no cash value, are not property or currency, cannot be redeemed for money, and may not be sold or transferred outside features expressly supported by the game.
The authoritative server ledger determines balances, ownership, claims, and reward completion. We may reverse duplicates, fraudulent grants, exploit-derived benefits, or errors. We may also rebalance earn rates, availability, or game effects for future use, while respecting mandatory rights that apply to a paid purchase. Loot-box and wheel rewards may involve chance, with the outcome selected by Blocker's authoritative service. These virtual rewards are entertainment only and do not award money or a cash-equivalent prize.
8. Purchases, billing, and refunds
If Blocker offers a paid app, premium entitlement, subscription, or in-app product, the price, duration, and material terms shown at checkout apply. Purchases processed through Google Play are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable payment terms. You are responsible for purchase authorization, taxes, and charges associated with your account or family payment method to the extent provided by those terms and applicable law.
Refund eligibility depends on applicable law, the purchase, the payment channel, and the relevant Google Play refund policy. Contact the developer through the Google Play listing if a paid Blocker entitlement was not delivered or does not work as described. A refund, charge reversal, or canceled transaction may remove the associated entitlement or virtual content. Account deletion does not itself create a refund or cancel a separately managed Google Play subscription.
9. Advertising and third-party services
Non-premium players may see interstitial advertising. Blocker may also offer an optional rewarded ad, such as watching through the required reward point to receive one in-game wheel spin. Closing or failing to complete a rewarded ad grants no reward. Reward delivery may require server verification and may be refused when a claim is invalid, duplicated, expired, or not verified.
Blocker uses or links to services operated by others, including Google Play, Google Play Games, Google Mobile Ads and consent tools, avatar generation, and network-location providers. Their own terms and policies govern their services. We are not responsible for a third party's independent service, content, availability, or decisions. The Privacy Policy describes the current providers and related data flows.
10. Service availability and changes
Blocker is an evolving online game. We may add, modify, rebalance, suspend, or remove modes, arenas, bots, social features, rewards, advertising, compatibility, or other functionality. We may use maintenance windows, capacity limits, version gates, anti-abuse controls, and emergency changes to protect the service.
We do not promise that any particular feature, item, opponent, ranking, server region, or test release will always be available. Where applicable law requires notice, a remedy, or continued access for a paid digital product, those mandatory rights still apply.
11. Blocker ownership and feedback
Blocker software, server systems, gameplay designs, visual assets, text, audio, brands, and other developer-provided content are owned by Pie Labs or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. “Blocker,” “Pie Labs,” and associated artwork may not be used to imply endorsement or affiliation.
If you voluntarily send an idea or suggestion, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, but you are not required to provide feedback. This does not transfer ownership of User Content submitted through ordinary game features.
12. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to investigate or address a material or repeated breach, cheating, fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, harm to another player, or a legal requirement. Urgent risks may require immediate action. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice or an opportunity to appeal through the available developer contact.
You may stop using Blocker at any time. To request deletion of a profile and associated data, use the authenticated action in Blocker Settings or the public account-deletion request. A request is queued for processing and does not guarantee immediate removal. Some information may be retained for transaction records, fraud prevention, security, legal obligations, disputes, and limited backup cycles as described in the Privacy Policy.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, completed transactions, enforcement evidence, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue to apply.
13. Privacy and account safety
Use of Blocker is subject to the Privacy Policy and, for relevant United States residents, the US Privacy Notice. Those pages explain account, gameplay, social, diagnostics, advertising, retention, security, and deletion practices and available controls.
No online system is perfectly secure. Protect your device, Google account, and Blocker credentials. Do not include passwords, guest credentials, OAuth codes, payment details, or sensitive personal information in usernames, biographies, artwork, messages, support requests, or the public deletion form.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blocker is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or free from loss of progress, latency, or third-party failure. You use the game at your own reasonable risk.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, guarantee, remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. The game is entertainment and is not financial, medical, legal, or professional advice.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pie Labs and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, virtual progress, or expected rewards arising from Blocker.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability arising from Blocker may be limited by the law that applies to the claim. No exclusion or limit in these terms applies where law requires a different remedy or prohibits the limitation, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.
16. Mandatory rights and general terms
Mandatory consumer law in your place of residence remains unaffected. The governing law, available forum, and remedies are determined by the law that applies to your relationship with the developer. These terms do not prevent you from using a forum or remedy that mandatory local law makes available.
Before starting a formal dispute, please contact the developer and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve it, unless urgent relief or a legal deadline makes that impractical. If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without consent; Pie Labs may transfer it with the service or its business, subject to applicable notice and consumer rights.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Blocker, distribution requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective and updated dates identify the version in force. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service, store, website, or in-app notice when required. Continuing to use Blocker after revised terms take effect means you accept them where that form of acceptance is lawful; if you do not agree, stop using the service.
Use the current developer contact published on Blocker's Google Play listing for a terms question, purchase-delivery issue, dispute, safety report, or intellectual-property concern. Include enough information to identify the issue, but do not send a password, guest credential, authorization code, or other secret.
